Hi there, what would an ideal workflow for you look like? Capture the photo in Fjorden, then be able to import that exact photo directly in Lightroom mobile to edit it?

@Florian ability to select more pictures, including “hold&slide” for selecting many pics in row and than share ➡️ “import2lightroom” would be helpful 😉

Search for “Lightroom” in this forum and you should find the method I use to get images everywhere in LR form my iPhone.. For complete Mobile editing, just select the settings in LR on your phone under App Settings>Input and all your images will be in LR.

Merged into Auto import to Lightroom Mobile#182

I’m curious why this is still marked as “Not Possible” when I have clearly described how my photos are automatically copied to Lightroom.

This feature request is about being able to directly open a photo from Fjorden in Lightroom. If you set up Lightroom to auto import photos from your Photos.app library, then of course photos from Fjorden will show up in Lightroom.

But looking at a photo (or multiple photos) in Fjorden, then sending them to Lightroom directly, is not possible.

This seems to me to be a difference without a distinction.

Unless I have completely misunderstood how things work, all FJ images are stored (only) in the (Apple) photo library. EVEN Lightroom - when used as a camera - on the iPhone stores its images in the photo library - as does every camera app that I’ve used on my phone.

So when you open a photo in Fjorden you are looking at the photo library - again unless I’ve got my head in a strange place. Not an unknown phenomenon.

So, unless Fjorden has plans to implement a storage system (please, please, please DON’T), then the request is moot and there is perfectly viable functionality to do exactly what is requested. My variation of the automated workflow moves ALL images (because that’s what I want it to do), and that is the only difference I can see between the requested feature and what is possible now.

I would strongly advocate for Fjorden to be the best, strongest, most robust CAMERA system for the Phone - and to prioritize functionality and robustness that supports that first and foremost. I’ll write more of my thoughts on this latter point in a separate comment at some stage.

Cheers

Correct.

Also correct.

No worries, we don’t plan to build our own storage, we will only save photos into the system’s library.

The original request was to build something so you can select a photo in Fjorden → Edit in Lightroom (similar to our Darkroom) integration. But, this kind of workflow is not possible.
