Depth Of Field Issue#198

I changed the depth of field in portrait mode and there is no difference in the final photo between f1.4 and f16 when changed manually. Given, I was taking a photo of the grip and not a face.

Would it be possible to have the dof option in manual too?

At the moment we require a face to be recognized in the view finder, because we rely on additional depth information Apple’s camera pipeline is sending. This additional data is not available on scenes without a face.

We plan to offer general depth of field simulation in the future.
