Unable to connect after latest update#466

Updated my device today to the latest update. After the update my device was disconnected. All attempts to reconnect have failed. My Bluetooth shows it as available to pair, but it just won’t connect. The led is flashing slowly and not rapidly. HELP! Is there a process to do a restore or a reset?

Hi @Happy2camp sorry to hear about the techincal issues. If the LED on your Fjorden Grip is blinking slowly, fading in and out, it means that it is searching for its paired phone and is not in pairing mode.

To pair the grip, it needs to blink quickly as shown at 0:38 in our tutorial video https://help.fjorden.co/en-US/how-to-pair-the-fjorden-grip-with-your-iphone-90764. To enter pairing mode, press and hold the FN button and the shutter button simultaneously for about 5–10 seconds. Even if the grip appears in the list of BT devices, continue holding both buttons until the LED blinks as shown in the video. Now you should be able to pair your grip, either via our app, our the Bluetooth screen in Settings.app.
