Rapid opening from Lock Screen like the Camera app on iPhone#367

It would be great to have a quick way to open the Fjorden or Leica Lux app.

This will come later this year with iOS 18.

Yeap it seems that it’s true. Unfortunately we have bought the “old grip”

Sorry, supporting capture while the phone is locked—a requirement for camera control support—is more complicated than expected. This will take a while.

In the meantime, we do offer lock screen widgets [1], which give you quick access to Fjorden.

Why the Leica LUX had this weeks ago?

We spent a lot of time working on it over the summer while iOS 18 was in Beta. We’re currently exploring ways to bring it to Fjorden, but we don’t have a timeline to share.

Current Fjorden Clients aren’t priority now. Leica customer of the new grip have, even, a year o free suscription…
