Manual takes pics at 48mp when i have selected 12mp#316

Hi! I have selected 12mp at manual mode but for some reason it takes them always at 48mp, i’ve been trying to change and close the app and open it again but it still takes them at 48. I would like to take them at 12mp:) By the way, i love the app, is the first time i find a manual camera app that is FREE and lets me deactivate smart hdr and deep fusion, ty so much i love the app!
