Disable digital zoom#159

I don’t ever want to use digital zoom - I want to restrict to only the native lenses (0.5x, 1x, and 3x for my 13 Pro). Can this be an option? As far as I can tell there is no way to do that now. Thank you!

The only way at the moment is to chose to shoot in RAW. Digital zoom is not available for RAW, only in HEIC/JPG and ProRAW.

I am curious though, do you want to prevent zoom because you trigger it by accident with the zoom lever?

Thanks Florian. Yes - exactly - I accidentally get it into fractional-zoom mode, whereas I just want it to “snap” to the fixed-zoom values (regardless of how I tap the lever). I don’t appear to have the RAW option - only HEIF and ProRAW.

Got it, thanks for the clarification. You can toggle between RAW and ProRAW in Settings -> Capture Format.
