Artificial "lock screen"#132

This one might be weird. Add a button that keeps the app and phone on, but blacks out the screen except for an activation button in the corner so there isn’t accidental button mashing and the camera is at the ready when at rest. Pressing the shutter or using a preferred button combo could also “wake the phone up” from this state.

At the expense of phone battery you could simulate waking up with the shutter button basically. The iphone 14 is always on anyways, so the future is headed this direction.

These are all just ideas, and this one is out there. The last thing I would want is a super cluttered interface. Some of the apps out there haven’t done this well.
